Interestingly, what Ghanaians abroad know since a long time, that Ghana grown poultry is just better and healthier, most Ghanaians at home don`t value!

Due all time brain washing by BBC or Deutsche Welle (DW), and other news-media and western films, Ghanaians are under the impression, that western life-style, culture and food must be good!
What they don`t realise, is that poultry in western countries is largely grown with

medication, and unnatural "animal" feeds. Beside of unnatural cage keeping. Antibiotics are an usual means of keeping poultry "healthy", but in reality, making the animals fat fast and increasingly resistant to Antibiotics, which reflects more and more on humans. 

Western meat is full of all kind of drugs. Even people in western countries, increasingly refuse to buy food, which is not grown naturally. Therefore, Africa becomes more and more an dumping ground for left overs, which are being sold at low price, destroying local farmers at large scale.
Additionally, due the import demand of food from abroad, the Ghana Cedi is more and more in decline. Blaming this just on the recent government is easy, but wrong.

Ghanaians are supposed, to have a brain, as every human being! 

The higher the demand; If you need foreign currency, and all you have to offer is a low performing economy, farmers and workers are out of job, as you refuse to buy "Made in Ghana". Every-one is just becoming a re-seller of foreign goods, if used or new - then you have to pay an higher price, for foreign currency. It`s a simple as that!

Exporting oil, and importing back motor oil - well, this is just not performing.
Exporting cocoa for "peanuts", instead ready products...
Buying USA "delicious" rice, and pushing Ghanaian rice from the table, is well performing..., for United States.

Ghanaians refuse to realise, that only buying more "Made in Ghana", could save the Ghanaian economy.  That includes the government of Ghana as well, when spending money for furniture and so on.

It`s about time, that Ghanaians change their attitude and trust in them self! And every Ghanaian, regardless if living in Ghana or abroad, can make a difference!
