Source: adomonline.com - A member of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Prof. Agyemang Badu Akosa has described as 'misplaced,' Nana Akufo-Addo’s comment calling for a new spirit of reconciliation between the country's two famous political traditions, the Nkrumaism and Danquah-Busia-ism....
According to the NPP leader, Dr J.B. Danquah died a painful death after several appeals to Dr Nkrumah to release him fell on deaf ears.
“His death appeared to have worsened the existing acrimony between the UGCC and the CPP. We have forgiven you" Nana Akufo-Addo told the family of Dr Kwame Nkrumah. But Prof. Akosa on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem on Thursday said “It is totally misplaced for the NPP to say they have forgiven Dr Kwame Nkrumah. Who has wronged who? “If they are not ready to disclose the actual problem, then I must say that things will be the way it is now. In fact, what change will it bring to the economy now if you say you have forgiven the CPP. It is just unnecessary,” he bemoaned. |
