Source: adomonline.com - The Government and Hospital Pharmacists Association (GHOSPA) say it has suspended its partial strike following assurance by some stakeholders in the health sector.
Chairman of the association Stephen Corquaye in an interview on Adom News said though they have called off the strike action, they are still waiting on the government to meet their demands within the promised time, else they would be forced to strike again.
The pharmacists have been on strike for close to three weeks to demand that government addresses some pressing issues affecting them including conditions of service.
The striking pharmacists only attended to In patients and Emergency situations.
