'Omane Boamah’s' bodyguard defiled me 3 times – Victim confesses

Source: adomonline.com - The 12-year old who has been impregnated by a police officer said to be a bodyguard of Communications Minister, Edward Omane Boamah has confessed that the policeman had sex with her on three occasions.

The officer, Lance Corporal Emmanuel Bartels, impregnated the minor some seven months ago.

Attempts by the victim’s family to get the police service to punish the erring officer have been disregarded.

The victim confessed that the security officer defiled her at times when her father was not at home.

According to the form one school girl, the Police Officer always told her to shut up after the act.

This command forced her to keep mute over the act until her father discovered that she was pregnant.

“My father went for a pregnancy kit for me which revealed I was pregnant…and my mother was invited to come into the case…,” she said.

According to her, the report was filed at a police station but the bodygaurd was not arrested since he was a police officer.

The pregnant victim has however dropped out of school.

However, Omane Boamah in WhatsApp message to Joy News denied that the person was his bodyguard.

“I don’t have a bodyguard. The guy is one of the police officers who guards bungalows on rotational basis", Dr. Omane Boamah said.
