Source: citifmonline.com - Some Ghanaians in Germany have taken to the streets to demonstrate against President John Dramani Mahama, who is on a state visit to the country.
The scenes in the European country were in stark contrast to when President Mahama first arrived on Sunday, when hundreds of Ghanaians resident in the country turned up in the capital, Berlin, to welcome him.
The demonstrators were seen holding cards with “No Germany Loan For Ghana” and “Stop the Cocaine Trade in Ghana” written on them.
President Mahama’s visit, where he held closed-door talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, is expected to strengthen relations between the two countries and explore new avenues for cooperation.
President Dramani Mahama faced similar protests during trips to the United States and the United Kingdom.
